March Roars in Like a Lion

I’m going Patreon only for the month of March. It’s not you, it’s me.
Speaker 1:

Hello. Welcome to Daily(ish) for Tuesday, 03/06/2018 or 2018, whichever is your preference. You can edit out the other version as you see fit. It's minus nine, feels like minus 15, but this is not a weather podcast, but, this is a podcast with lots of snow outside the window. And March has definitely, decided to be a winter snowy wonderland.

Speaker 1:

It's kind of like the finally, just when we're getting hoping spring is gonna happen and that we're gonna be, getting warmer temperatures. It's warmed up a bit, but it also brought a ton, a literal ton of snow. So very thankful as I mentioned on my Instagram about, four, neighbors with snow blowers because that saved a whole bunch of work yesterday that in a snowblower can do in ten to fifteen minutes and probably ten to fifteen dollars worth of gas maybe, and, what would have taken me, a good hour probably of shoveling. So, yeah, very appreciative that neighbors with snowblowers like to use them and, are okay using them on my driveway from time to time. So this, this is gonna be the last episode actually of Daily for March that the general public will see, I guess.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna take go private and just go Patreon only for basically March until a month from now. So, just for reasons, nothing that's no emergencies, no life catastrophes or whatever, but, just every so often, I like to do that, and so I decided I'm gonna do that for March. It's not really a if I was really smart marketing, guru person, I probably would, you know, do this as like a big campaign to get more followers or or supporters on Patreon and stuff like that, but I I can't claim that that's any sort of, big marketing push that way. It's just more of a another yet another experiment that if you're still listening after 236 episodes, and this is the two hundred and thirty seventh, you're, probably used to by now, but, just trying out different things. Sometimes it's nice to know exactly, almost exactly, I guess, who's listening or at least who's potentially could listen, whether they actually listen or not.

Speaker 1:

And, and so, yeah, focusing in on the focus on Patreon. So patreon.com/ichris is where you can visit it. The link is in the show notes as always, where it says support me on Patreon. That's where you can click or tap depending on where you're listening to this. And, so the folks on Patreon will get episodes throughout the much of month of March for the next month or so.

Speaker 1:

And then afterwards, I'll probably release them into the regular feed publicly. I don't know. We'll see how that all works out on the technical side, but, yeah. So I'll just be posting it purely to Patreon. And, and so if you wanted to follow along any amount, dollar a month or whatever or more is all you need to do to support me on there, and then you'll have access to the Patreon stuff.

Speaker 1:

And, so that's just FYI when you don't if you fail to notice, which ironically enough, the it's there's been times in the past I know where I've gone almost probably a month or more maybe for where I haven't released the Daily(ish) episode, and so it wouldn't be shocking. But just in case you're wondering, that's where all the episodes are. So you can still follow me on Twitter, twitter.com/ichris. I'll tweet stuff or whatever obviously from time to time. And, when new episodes are out, I'll post a link there that will reference the Patreon page, which will be sort of locked behind a bit of a paywall.

Speaker 1:

And then if you wanna support, you can, and away you go. Bob's your uncle as my kids know I say. So, actually, that's where this episode is gonna end for the regular folks. The music's gonna play, and you'll go on your merry way. For the Patreon folks listening on Patreon, there's there'll be a little more afterwards, after the music, so stick around for that.

Speaker 1:

And, but that's it. Thank you for listening. Thank you for your support. Thank you for sharing the episodes. Thank you for commenting on my blog, chrishens.com, or reading my tweets or wherever you happen to watch my videos on my, YouTube channel, and especially for listening to podcast at goodstuff.fm.

Speaker 1:

Kyle and Kenny of the morning show, if you visit goodstuff.fm/ morning show or the good stuff morning show, just recorded an episode this morning and are consistently putting out awesome funny food science tech podcast that brightens up your day. And, also, they've done a they're doing a spin off show on either on Anchor or just on Good Stuff, the name of which is today's special. So goodstuff.fm/ today's special. Today with an s and then special. Link will be in the show notes, of course, where they're just doing celebrating a different food each day where it's like the food of the day is peanut butter or banana cream pie or the episode so far.

Speaker 1:

And, just like short little episodes that you can listen to either, again, like I said, on Anchor or on the episode page or on Apple Podcasts, etcetera, and subscribe wherever you see fit and want to follow along. Alright. Thanks for listening. Patreon folks, stick around for little longer, and, that's it for this episode. Hope you hope you have a great day.

Speaker 1:

Bye.
