Wiener Talk

Parental PSA - Morning Show should not be listened to over supper. It’s nothing but filth and potty talk.
Speaker 1:

Chris is gonna be so excited that we're talking about Wieners right now.

Speaker 2:

Speaker 2:

Thousands. Any and all are accepted. So I'm recording this episode just to talk a little bit about why I love the Internet and why I think it's fun to put stuff out on the Internet and also to, interact with folks on the Internet, chat, make jokes, have a little fun, lighten up. On Sunday night on Twitter, I invited the Internet over for a Wiener roast to our house as you do. And, a few people responded mostly joking about that they would be there except that they were, you know, hundreds of miles away.

Speaker 2:

Prompted the should give me the idea that maybe I should do like, it would obviously be locally focused, but invites bring your own Wiener roast, party thing for any local Twitter folks sometime, in the backyard just because it's a fun thing to do. Maybe a safe way to meet people. That's not a bar, guess. I don't know. Anyways, more on that later.

Speaker 2:

But anyways, later that evening, Kyle and Kenny were recording episode 310, number 310 of their internationally acclaimed podcast morning show, which you can find at goodstuff.fm/morningshow/3ten. Except they're recording it in the evening. More on that later. Among other things, were discussing purple ketchup and other food condiment ideas and which I brought up at our supper table last night, Monday night, track this with me now, with my family on Monday which prompted, this discussion.

Speaker 3:

On fries? On fries or a hot dog? Ew. That's disgusting. Gross.

Speaker 2:

Is it so disgusting?

Speaker 3:

Yes. Gross. It looks like chewed gum all over fries.

Speaker 2:

But who

Speaker 3:

likes red ketchup? Not me.

Speaker 2:

You guys like red ketchup all the time. No. That's all you have is red ketchup. Anyways, then I talked about how Kyle and Kenny had said this during the recording of the morning show around the fifty two minute mark.

Speaker 1:

Chris is gonna be so excited that we're talking about Wieners right now.

Speaker 2:

To which my kids understandably responded with.

Speaker 3:

Why are they talking about Wieners? Like, this is a Wiener?

Speaker 2:

That's where my son, of course, pointed his crotch.

Speaker 3:

Like, my bum is a Wiener? No. I don't see it.

Speaker 2:

And, Lucy took things off the rails very quickly as most three year olds do. So anyways, all this to say, kids find the discussion of Wiener's very funny and roasting us said Wieners, etcetera, made for a good conversation. And you're all invited to a future Wiener roast if I ever invite you. That's all for this episode of Daily ish. Thanks for playing along.
