Hello. Welcome to Danish for Tuesday, October 6. That's 13 degrees. Feels like 12 degrees with the winter is coming hashtag. This episode of Daily ish brought to you by FeedPress.

I had to get an episode out because it's been too long and I was just building up a mental blockage to, recording a podcast and letting my yeah. Just get worked up about what it was gonna be and and so this is the one of those another one of those mental unblockages. The what was I gonna say? The Metamucil?

Speaker 1:

No. Whatever. One of those things that helps you get unblocked episodes. So I've been, I have been busy with, work stuff, striking while the iron is hot as they say and trying to get work done and trying to get more, I have a podcast editing production site side business thing that I've been trying to build as well. And so anytime I go to do a podcast, think, oh, no.

Speaker 1:

I should just do that that site because that'll actually help me get money, paid money, business to do more podcasting, which is what I really love doing. And to be honest, I've also been kinda like I I felt like I did a decent job August, September of, of getting putting some stuff out there, putting putting myself out there with podcasting, with Patreon, and all that kind of stuff, and putting a video up, and and kind of just feeling like the response was, collective Meh, like, which, is is fair and I want to, like, acknowledge and, be aware of that. Like not that people weren't supportive of it and and the the typical supporters that I have were very supportive of it, which is awesome. But by the same token, it didn't move the needle forward a little bit. I didn't get climb a little bit higher up the mountain.

Speaker 1:

I'd insert metaphor here. And so it kind of just left me feeling a little bit like, I don't know where to go with this and what to do. And, and so yeah. And we've this last little while and and other podcasting stuff news, which I'm sure is very interesting to you is, just like dealing with some good stuff, CMS coding stuff and garbage like that that is not not garbage because of anything that anybody did, but just because it's just what it is. It's just been also sapping in the energy I had towards podcasting.

Speaker 1:

And so it's been kind of a one of those moments, one of those times, those periods. I've had good shots with folks about stuff and doing like I've talked about before in the whole Blab platform and having interesting conversations with random folks on there who are involved in some of this podcasting space stuff and marketing and etcetera. But but yeah, just the collective man. I know that, like I've said, I need to do I'm I'm some decisions I guess are coming up as far as, what to do with shows that I'm on and involved with that maybe aren't I need to just admit aren't going anywhere or aren't my passion and like I've talked about with Shroomer Mike and the show I do with my brother-in-law Lost in Lemon and and even this show which, you know, in theory is supposed to be this this quick throwaway show, but what if I actually put some effort into it? What would happen?

Speaker 1:

But that's where again, I felt like I I kinda did in August and stuff in in terms of being reliable and and putting out a lot more thought into every episode, etcetera. And, just kinda being greeted with meh. So that's why the title of this episode is meh. There you go. You got to the reason why.

Speaker 1:

But and fall is always so like the busy time family wise. Kids are getting into activities. All the programs in school etcetera starts up and kind of now October's hits and where September's over and you're kind of like, okay, now this is the normal routine of this pace and and so how do where does everything settle after that? So anyways, tldr or t l two two long didn't listen maybe tldl, working on the podcast site. I'll I'll send it out to you in in a short while here for your feedback.

Speaker 1:

Put it on talk about it on a future episode before I launch it live to the world. Just could get if anybody has feedback on it, it'd be awesome to to hear. But, then we'll be doing that and, yeah, who knows what will come next. So still here, still alive, still podcasting. Happy I was gonna say happy birthday.

Speaker 1:

I don't know why. Maybe somebody's birthday is listening. Happy birthday. And hope you have a great day. Thanks for listening.

Speaker 1:

See you next time. Bye. Hi.
